AGM - Thursday 4th Jan 2024
Happy New Year to you all!
As already announced by your secretary, this Thursday 4th Jan we have our Branch AGM at The Cherry Tree Inn starting at 7:30. This will be the first AGM we have had in person since December 2019.
You will be receiving an update from our Chairman, information about our Finance from our Chairman, some words of wisdom from our Secretary and finally a few words from me about our Fly Tying plans for the rest of this tying season.
Please come along. We would like to hear your comments, suggests and requests on how we move forward as a FDG Fly Tying & Fishing Branch.
After the summer break, we will restart on Thu 5th September 2024 for the Winter 2024-25 tying season.
Fishing
Farmoor Reservoir is open for fishing. It costs about £25 for a boat for two plus £25 for a 4 fish ticket for the over 65s – so £37.50 each for a day’s boat fishing or £25 from the bank. (Costs not exact).
It will fish very well from the bank from early March using buzzers.
Draycote opens on 1st March. Shall we arrange a boat fishing trip?
