BRANCH OF FLY DRESSERS GUILD
Sean, Phil, Gary, Richard E. and Richard L. all gathered at the usual pull off for 8.30am on a grey and blustery morning expecting heavy rain later. Fortunately the rain held off until just before lunch when the heavens finally opened! Despite the difficult conditions we all managed to bring some good fish to the net in the morning with Phil bagging eight nice grayling before 10.30am near the top of Beat 1! Conditions became increasingly more difficult during the afternoon but about fifty fish were caught by the end of the day including a large grayling or two, the occasional brown trout and a small sea trout to Richard Logan. Overall, a successful day bearing in mind the very windy and wet conditions!
