Draycote November 2017
A cold but bright morning with a light cold wind from the north.
The fish were hard to find with about 30 landed by the 6 of us.
Inevitably the novice (never been reservoir boat fishing before) Richard B caught the largest bag with 8 fish (he could probably catch a fish in a cup of tea).
Largest fish was a '5lb' Brown Trout by Richard E.
Di 5's and both slow and fast retrieves of beaded damsels and the like appeared to work.
John and I both caught at exactly the same time - both fish expertly landed in a single net!
The best catch by an angler that day was 14 fish - so we all have a lot of practice to put in!
