Grayling Trip October 14th 2017
Met at 8.30 at Wetherall five all told. We drove to Beat 1 and parked by the river. The Test River was low with a soft flow and well weeded. All rods were on the bank by 9am some of us quicker than others. The weather was cloudy and the temperature about 18 C . Consequently we were all feeling the heat in our fishing gear. The majority of Grayling were caught in the morning session mostly on the Nymph. Broke for lunch at 12.30. The afternoon session was much slower.
The day finished with 70 fish on the bank. Another glorious day on the test.
